Professional, Structural Experts, and Incredible Craftsmanship
We hired Renomar for a major kitchen and second-floor washroom renovation. The experience was exceptional from start to finish.
What initially set them apart was their detailed, itemized quoting process. They provided several versions of the project focused on different cost and time scales, which gave us total clarity before we even started.
One of the biggest challenges was removing two structural posts in the kitchen. Renomar recommended a structural engineer and executed the plan flawlessly, installing new beams and joists in less than a week. They passed inspection with zero comments—a testament to their technical precision.
The scope of their work was massive and they went out of their way to provide a solid, clean and highly-finished result :
Washroom: A total top-to-bottom renovation including new subflooring, all-new pipework, new tub, new vanity and beautiful tile work.
Kitchen: A complete overhaul including subfloors, hardwood, air ducts, and complex plumbing/electrical for a new island, power-hood, built-in fridge, freezer, coffee maker and speed oven
Custom Work: They even built a beautiful new coat cabinet and are currently finishing our powder room.
The installers are true artisans. They went out of their way to perfect the smallest details while somehow still staying exactly on schedule. It is rare to find a company that balances high-end quality craftsmanship with reasonable pricing and structural expertise.
One more impressive aspect of how this team approaches work and did all they could to keep the premises clean and avoid damaging floors or walls outside of the scope of their work: the team installed protection mats on floors and stairs. They blocked all airways, installed plastic barriers on hallways and vacuumed frequently so dust and debris did not spread throughout the house. It was impressive to see how this quality oriented team managed to contain inherent dust from such a large scale project.

We hired Olimpiu to remodel our kitchen for us and we are so glad we did! We wanted to completely re-do our kitchen which required adding a kitchen island, adding completely new cabinets and putting in a backsplash throughout the entire kitchen. Olimpiu was able to provide us with several different suggestions with different colour schemes and finishes and was able to help us create our dream kitchen. He was always upfront and honest about pricing and timelines and we really felt like he cared about our house instead of just trying to get money out of us. He finished everything on time and we never had to worry about where he was at in the process as he communicated everything to us consistently! We will definitely be using him again!!

Renomar did an incredible job renovating a bathroom in my home. They came in and did everything from the plumbing, which had leaks and was very old, to now working like a dream. They also sourced, installed and finished the bathroom with high quality materials in a very timely manner and took care of everything including taking out any garbage. Very happy with the service and will be sure to use them again in the future for any home renovation projects.

At the end of 2024, we decided to completely renovate our old bungalow in Midtown. The idea was to renew the exterior without changing its charming look, while completely gutting and rebuilding the interior. We entrusted this major project to Olimpiu, who had previously renovated two bathrooms for us to our full satisfaction and it turned out to be a great success.
Olimpiu far exceeded even our highest expectations, and it is hard to praise him enough. He is incredibly professional and skilled, works in a truly state of the art manner, and is also amazingly kind, accommodating, 100% trustworthy, and affordable. Our renovation was extremely demanding nevertheless, he was able to complete everything on schedule and within budget.
We are quite picky when it comes to finishes, but Olimpiu pays attention to the smallest details even more than we do. He is the kind of old fashioned craftsman rare to find nowadays who takes great pride in his work and does not settle for anything until it is absolutely perfect. Renomar completed the renovation of our main and top floors. My friends and coworkers all told me there's no way this would be completed in the time frame we were quoted, but it was done, and done well! Very happy with our renovation and the time frame it was completed in. Would work with renomar again.

It was a pleasure working with Renomar/Olimpiu for our 1200sqft full gut renovation in Toronto.
Olimpiu and his team completed high quality work at a fair price. We went down to the studs to replace all utilities, remove load bearing walls, add spray foam insulation, new drywall, doors, hardwood flooring/stairs, kitchen and bathroom, etc. I was particularly impressed by his personal expertise with tiling and his work on our trim/baseboards.
The timeline Olimpiu gave us before starting work was quicker than we expected, and he was on or ahead of schedule from day one until completion. He did a great job coordinating with his tradespeople and with the city (for permits/inspections) to minimize downtime - I could probably count on one hand the number of days where there wasn’t any work being completed somewhere within the house.
Most importantly to us, we were confident Olimpiu had our best interest in mind throughout the entire process. We never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us nor give us advice that he wouldn’t follow himself if it were his own home. He does things the correct way from the start, without prompting. He didn’t nickel and dime us for extras throughout the project – the price he gave from the start covered all his work that wasn’t additional scope we chose to add for our own benefit.
We highly recommend Renomar, whether for a small bathroom remodel, renovating an entire house, or anywhere in between.

This was our second time hiring Olimpiu / Renomar. 2 years ago they completed a new kitchen and laundry room for us and this year we brought them back to do a new master bedroom and ensuite. Renomar is the only contractor we have ever worked with who finishes on time. They are very good at sticking to the quote as well, but communicate well to provide options a long the way that could enhance the space. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. On time, to spec, good communication , and on budget. The Craftsmanship in the bathroom in particular is really great. This was not an easy bathroom because it's a 100 year old house in the Annex so required a lot of levelling, heated floors, curbless shower, heated bench, linear drain, multiple fans for ventilation, a huge double vanity installation, motion sensor mood lighting for under the vanity and in the shower so that you don't need to turn on the lights at night. 10/10. Thank you!

Olimpiu and his team did an amazing job renovating my condo downtown. They gutted the bathroom, changed the flooring, removed the popcorn ceiling and re-did the whole kitchen to make it look modern and stylish. Olimpiu was responsive, professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He also stayed on budget and on time with the original completion date.
